Cheers to the brew

Cheers to the brew
That causes one to depart
One sober world for another
Familiar but other
A trick, a turn, a top spins round
This strangely lucid mind
And bubbles do keep bubbling up
A frothy head, a head awash
Too light to hold a thought for long
So sip each word and let it fly
Witty remarks do flow from high
Upon a stool, to floor below
An open ear may catch the bait
And laugh we do, a fool's delight
Oblivious to the logic born
Merry we, fortune to taste
These rainbow brews
Their colors true
Still with the wit of none before
Do toss another comment, green
Into the cauldron simmering
With frivolity and folly
Till everyone departs, all jolly
And home we roll along a path
Delightful as a bubble bath
Inside the head
Still frothing exuberance
And glee
Smiling, content with the life
We lead
