A moon is rising

A moon is rising beyond the ocean
Thoughts are scattered all through my mind
You are still out there somewhere eternal
Older memories of heaven left far behind

No prophecy foresees life’s true adventure
Heartfelt laughter covers my face
Visions of paradise stream one to another
Dreams become the reality of grace

Filled with happiness, too joyful to state
Sitting in peace with the One, truly empty
Love pours over a clear horizon
And finds you spilling over, contented

Sunset; a scarlet shimmering ocean
Distance between us no longer survives
Nothing is gained in a state of illusion
In silence a jewel is seen with the eye
