Can't turn reflections around

No wonder the crossroads came to join like this
Sitting with silence almost comes close to bliss
Coming and going like snow under a warm winter sun
Trapped inside four walls where dead is fun

And the tears keep trickling down
An empty well can’t turn reflections around

Choices made and the nights turn into days
Two eyes looking out, where only the wind plays
Words creep into darkness through a long deep cave
And a rope around the neck, going down isn’t safe

And the tears keep trickling down
An empty well can’t turn reflections around

Keeping warm is hard with only one skin
Eggs fall from nests through walls made too thin
Winter winds cut deep into scars festering
Empty plates stocked on shelves quietly screaming

And the tears keep trickling down
An empty well can’t turn reflections around

A lamp in the corner gradually grows dim
Shadows' staggered flicker highlights the ending
A spinning top still lingers on the edge of a knife
Black and white merge at the center of life

And the tears keep trickling down
An empty well can’t turn reflections around

Nobody knows where the winding path leads
A hand pointing up to the moon, only bleeds
As a outline appears in the shape of a ring
Blossoms in bloom will soon be falling

And the tears keep trickling down
An empty well can’t turn reflections around
