Tears across windowpanes

Just heard a call across the sea
Sad music playing, it haunted me
Alone in paradise made to be
A place we’d stand in harmony

The corners - space opening out beyond
Each symbol; meanings of which I’m fond
If I should wave the sorcerers’ wand
Across a historical table you’d belong

Tears stream across these windowpanes
Is this heaven or love’s deepest pain?
There’s nowhere to turn away from rain
Alone, above and below, still tears stream down

All things would come and go
All of you wanted more to be known
Spiraling time takes me to meet you
And we’ll come home inside this room
