I like the way you drift

As if I hear the air,

Your voice drifting into me

I like the way you drift

Into my mind…all the time

I like the way your voice

Speaks to me, inside my head

As if you’re there

Forgotten words appear fresh

sweet blooms

bursting with life

On branches, gnarled bark sings

It’s message of time

Resounding mantra of life’s cycles

Expanding…in all directions,

all dimensions

Then contracting back again

to the beginning

Let it go, let it go

Waves keep crashing onto the shore

washing the sand,

Flowing with each wave

Every single grain

My hands placed together

I like the way you drift

Into my mind…all the time
