Does anyone want to stand and fight?
Can you stand with a rifle in hand
And take another’s life?

Repeating terror
Repeating lies
Flies all over the wall
Stuck to the words of politicians
That dribble from their mouths

Families
Torn from each other
In the middle of night
Some taken away
Out of sight

Children
Yours and mine
In horror
Seeing the worst of humanity
Killing each other

Happiness
Replaced by willful abuse
Of the sacred
In every person
For no use

Power
Taken for granted
By a wicked few, or more
A full spectrum dominance
Above the rule of law
Still we, the people
Vote them into power
To serve us all
To hear our call
They take no notice
After all

With economic might
Devouring all in sight
A global privatization of public resources
By force
As well as fraud

These criminal gang institutions
Existing on the premise:
I can kill therefore I am
Is this their way of being human?

The people
Of every land
United…stand
Our voices demand
Not freedom
Not security
Not war
But humanity
