White, heavenly pure
With an angel’s touch
Of pink, almost illusive
As if a wand swept
Across petal-laden clouds
Cherry tree magic
Or nature’s gift
Of essential beauty
Branches hang low
Over a watery carpet
Too delicate to know
Under foot
Eyes step and jump
From one petal
To the next
A dance of spirit
Spring snow never falls
Like cherry blossoms
From branches, high
Petals flutter by
Spinning and turning
Lighter than breeze
Drifting far
Beyond imagination
